9 Months!

Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a beautiful fall. We have been but again realize that we are long overdue for an update on the 'ol blog. This fall has been one of the most beautiful but busy falls that I can remember. The colors were amazing and we are still getting days that warrant short sleeves and jeans and it is nearly October. All you who live in the South probably don't think that's something to be excited about but for us Minnesotans it is fantastic!
Charlie is doing just great. We just past the nine month mark last Saturday and are well on our way. He is pulling up on things, starting to "cruise" a little, army crawls at the speed of light, has close to eight teeth (which he'll show you if you ask...see below), claps his hands, does "sooo big", laughs on command or when he is trying to get your attention, and is eating veggie burgers. Haha, that last one I had to add in there because while all the rest are exciting to Brad and I, I am sure he is most excited about the new foods that have become available to him since he has acquired his chompers.
The resort had another great season this year. We had the opportunity to welcome a ton of old friends back for another year as well as meet a good number of new. This weekend is our closing weekend and another year for the books. I continue to count my blessings and am grateful for all of the hard work that my grandpa, his brother and my parents have put in to ensure that we continue to have a place to call Maddens.
